Increase productivity and enhance company image !
TSB and Allied Dunbar, among others, have developed childcare policies and have seen a reduced rate in sickness days and decreased absenteeism rates. These employers also benefit from the positive publicity - they are seen as 'Good Employers' and as 'Providers of services to the community at large'.
Savings on Recruitment, Retainment and Training !
Midland Bank estimates that it costs the equivalent of a years employment costs including recruitment, training and experience for each member of their staff who did not return to work after maternity leave: a total of nearly £18Million a year.
Small and Medium Sized Companies !
Childcare is equally important to smaller and medium sized companies who may not have large training or recruitment budgets. The pages on this site contain a range of advice.
